Catalise hired to evaluate the feasibility of an Asian Shared Service Centre

Having won a competitive tender, Catalise have been engaged to help our Nasdaq listed client, with revenue of more than $1 billion, find innovative ways of increasing customer service whilst reducing costs. Catalise Consultant Ean Evans has travelled across Asia undertaking a pan-Asian Shared Service baseline study evaluating the Finance & Accounting organisation in China, Japan, Hong Kong and Australia.

We have evaluated the options available to the client - which include outsourcing, setting up a new Asian Shared Service Centre and potential leverage of the existing European Shared Service Centre. We have delivered an investment case for the preferred option, and are providing ongoing support as the project moves towards the implementation stage.
