Global manufacturer – developed the strategy and business case to outsource the European Finance function in 20+ countries, with 60 locations and 350+ staff. Gave independent advice on supplier selection and carried out due diligence, transition and implementation planning for the service transfer.
Clinical Diagnostics company – Pan-Asian Financial Shared Service / Outsourcing Advised Dade Behring through the decision process for restructuring of its Finance Function and the decision to outsource. Catalise led the client through the complete outsourcing lifecycle for their finance function for their Asia Pacific Business (including Japan, Greater China, Australia).
Outcome: Successful outsourcing of finance & accounting function to 3rd party specialist supplier based in China.
Global logistics company – creation of a European data centre in London, involving end to end management from business case to implementation.
Global mail and logistics business – service project for a major international group and a number of its new acquisitions. 200 consultants from various competing organisations were already involved when Catalise arrived, along with the disparate companies within the group.
Outcome: Through change management, proper planning and frank, open leadership, Catalise was able to deliver the project successfully with its stakeholders.
Deutsche Post World Net – Migrating the financial processes of 5 multicultural organisations onto a single platform and creating a new shared financial service in Cologne.
Outcome: Significant synergies and cost savings achieved with the successful completion of the project
DHL IT Shared Service Centre Prague – Project Management of a new global data centre in Prague. Definition of business case (hundreds of millions of €s investment), ongoing responsibility for financial consulting to the centre.
Outcome: Savings were over Euro 40m per year
